Privacy at Blueprint Lab.

Read the guides and use the free blueprint tool without an account.

Your plan stays in your browser

Drawing, area calculations and PDF preparation run on your device. Blueprint Lab does not send your plan to a server. When browser storage is available, the tool automatically saves your current plan, including its title, room labels, dimensions, walls and openings, so you can return to it on the same browser and site address.

Starting a new shed or home plan replaces that saved plan. Clear this site's browser storage to remove it entirely. If storage is unavailable, the tool still works for the current page session. Save an editable plan file for a separate copy you can reopen; an SVG or PDF is a drawing you can share. Choose what to include before sharing any file.

Downloads create files on your device. Imported plan files are read locally. The article's interactive 3D models reset when you reload; download their records to keep an example.

Search and subscriptions

Journal search runs in your browser. Search terms can appear in the page URL when you share it or reload it. There are no advertising trackers, third-party visitor analytics, or newsletter forms on these pages. RSS subscriptions are managed by the reader application you choose.

Requests needed to deliver the site

The hosting and network providers receive the requested URL, IP address, browser headers, and other information needed to serve and secure the site. They may retain service or security logs under their own policies. Blueprint Lab does not add a separate visitor tracking system.

Google Search Console is used to check how Google discovers and presents the site. Domain verification uses a DNS record; it does not add a tracking script or cookie to these pages.

Links and future changes

External sources have their own privacy policies. This page describes Blueprint Lab as of September 8, 2026 and should be revised if the site adds accounts, visitor analytics, forms that send information, or plans stored on a server.
